Visual Artists Market

Each year the Bessie Smith Heritage Festival presents new, upcoming and established visual artists in the "Visual Artists Market" (VAM). The artists in this market also participate in our "Artists in Action" educational event where the artists create a piece of visual artwork on site in the VAM inspired by the sights and sounds of the Bessie Smith Heritage Festival. The artists also have artwork available for purchase at the festival.
